Couples

Relationships go through many ups and downs with time. Couples may seek a therapist to come alongside them for support through those hard seasons. As you consider if this is something you and your partner need, here are some things to consider. In couples therapy, the relationship is the client. The counselor holds a non-biased stance, not siding with either partner, but seeking the health of the relationship. Our counselors use several different therapeutic modalities to support couples including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman approach. Our hope is that, through the counseling process, couples will come to better understand one other and feel equipped to navigate difficult conversations more effectively, ultimately leading to a stronger emotional connection.
