Closing Our Doors
For over 20 years, Forest Hill Church has provided both pastoral and professional counseling services to congregants and has made a significant investment and impact in the lives of countless people. Over the past few months, the Council of Elders and Executive Leadership of Forest Hill have been in a process of reevaluating several ministry areas to determine alignment to Forest Hill’s new mission and vision. Leadership has made the difficult decision to close Forest Hill Counseling as of September 1st.
We know this may be difficult news to hear for those who have been recipients of counseling here at Forest Hill in the past or those who are currently in the sacred process of counseling work. Your counselor will be available to answer questions you might have and discuss what next steps for your counseling journey might entail. We are grateful for the many years of impact the counseling ministry at Forest Hill has had on the body. It has been our privilege to partner with the work God is doing in your life.

Forest Hill Counseling upholds the essential beliefs of historical Christianity. Each member of our team affirms these core beliefs which inform our professional calling as counselors. We believe that these truths speak to what it means to flourish as a human being and what it means to face difficulty and adversity. While we function from a Christian perspective, Forest Hill Counseling welcomes clients from all faith backgrounds and traditions. This includes those with no religious affiliation at all. We respect each person’s autonomy and intentionally engage with each client according to their expressed preferences and interests.
